Day 21: Delicious

Okay, I realize this isn’t a gourmet meal or anything but I’ve been eating “clean” and healthy for the month of March and this is lunch.  It’s a veggie burger on a whole grain bun with tomato, onion and of course, jalapenos.  I’ve also been eating a ton of salads lately and they are delightfully delicious as well.  Eating healthy has never been a problem for me.  It’s the exercising and lack of booze that I find irritating.  I mean, why put a cup holder on the damn treadmill?  Isn’t that where your beer goes?

    I thought cocktails went into the cup holders! Maybe that's why I gave up treadmills. They just don't make sense! And I am with on eating right but lacking the exercise part. I've fallen off my wagon of plans and schedules and I am struggling to get everything back on track!You lunch looks good!

    I appreciate that you are having a jalapeno veggie burger at 6am. This is a good way to start the day. I put Louisiana hot sauce and crushed red pepper on my breakfast every day.

  3. I hooked my kids on salads so I wouldn't have to figure out how to cook other veggies…. win/win!I do, however, have a homemade creamy garlic salad dressing that I use as my secret weapon. My youngest suggests I bottle & sell it, but until that happens the recipe is on my blog. If you like garlic its the bomb and good as marinade & on pasta & rice.Nancy's family calls it Heather dressing. Haha!
